What a statement!

Stewart Planned to Bump Trump

I don't really care about the article it itself as it was talking about the TV show, but I found the quote at the bottom interesting...:

After serving five months in jail for lying about a 2001 stock sale, which was followed by nearly six months of house arrest, the lifestyle guru says she feels resilient.

"I have learned that I really cannot be destroyed."
Why does she use the word destroyed?

Happy Halloween!!!

Interesting..

Bush, Bono Have Lunch

This was interesting. Some of the stuff Bono said. It's a good read.

On a side note: I always have wondered about his glasses. Does he really need them?

World Series

It's nice to see two different teams in the World Series. I'm happy for both teams. The White Sox haven't made it since 1959, and the Astros have never made it to the Series. I don't know much about the teams because it is a little hard to keep track with it over here. Anyways, I hope the Astros win. (I better say that or I risk getting killed by someone...)

I like this...

Stipulations (excerpt):
"Players will no longer be able to wear:
-- Sleveless shirts
-- Shorts
-- T-shirts
-- Chains, pendants, or medallions worn over
the player's clothes.
-- Sunglasses while indoors
-- Headphones (other
than on the team bus or plane, or in the team locker room).
Also jerseys and
baseball caps will no longer be acceptable attire for postgame press
conference."
This should add a lot of professionalism to a sport that is now crowded by "kids" and "man-children". I doubt it will stick though.

Thanks to my "nephew".

Songs of the Week

"Harder to Breathe", "This Love", "Sunday Morning", and "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 on the album, Songs About Jane.

Sinopec Chinese GP from Shanghai

Well, I'm sad to say that the 2005 Formula 1 season is over. However, it ended with a great race. Renault ended up picking up the Constructor's Championship with a seventh win from Fernando Alonso, Kimi in second, and Ralf Schumacher getting the third spot on the podium for Toyota. I was happy to finally see Toyota get up there. It was a great season, and I hope next year will be just as exciting. It should be with all the changes that are scheduled.

What a weekend!

What a crazy weekend for college football! There were so many close and crazy games this weekend. Starting with West Virginia upsetting Louisville in 3 OT, Florida State losing to Virginia, and Michigan beating undefeated Penn State (which is kinda conflicting for me; my dislike for Michigan against my will for Penn State to lose so OSU may still have a chance at the Big Ten). Also, of course, I was happy to see Ohio State put away Michigan State. I was a little worried there for a while (I got to see some of the third quarter). Now am I forgetting something... Oh yeah, the Notre Dame-USC game! I was so hoping ND would finish it off. As much as I don't want USC to win, I have to admit it was cool how they ended the game. With Reggie Bush pushing Leinhart from behind to help him into the end zone. It just sucks that with Reggie being the workhorse and doing the most in the game, Leinhart still gets all the glory because he was that last play. It isn't fair to RBs how QBs get all the credit.

All in all, it was a great weekend for college football.... Makes me wish I didn't have to read it all online instead of getting to watch it at home.

This is rough...

18-Month-Old Child Hit By SUV

This is a sad story....
And judging by the picture, the SUV appears to be a Ford Expedition. That just makes it that much worse. Damn you American gas-guzzling SUVs!!!

New James Bond

Daniel Craig Unveiled As New James Bond

I'm glad they at least kept it a British guy. Instead of getting an Aussie or something.

HP FANS: Judging by the picture on this page, don't you think he could have made a good Lord Voldemort?

This is so cool!!

First Medicine Case

I had to take my first case today. It was pretty cool. We were supposed to do patient history and a general physical examination. There was no supervision so we pretty much were the doctors to the patient. Plus I got to use my stethoscope for the first time! Yeah!

I'm not gonna write the specifics of the examination here (ie - what the case was), but you can find it on the school page.

Arrested Development

Arrested Development is the funniest show ever! I mean, Seinfeld, Raymond, Family Guy, Scrubs - they are all funny; but AD is hilarious! Every single episode has you cracking up the whole time. My favorite part is how all the loose ends tie up at the end of every episode. Every episode is genius! The best character is GOB. Next, I'd have to say Tobias. The writing for both characters' lines is awesome.

"I've made a huge mistake...."

No School!

Yea! No school today!

I was wrong.....

I guess I was wrong about Maurice Clarett. It seems that he was cut from the Broncos before the season started. I also heard that he didn't take a signing bonus, but signed for performance bonuses (i.e. - get 500+ yards, get $$$). So he ended up coming out with basically nothing. Too bad I guess. Good thing I didn't invest in a Clarett Broncos jersey.

Changed All 3 Addresses

If you are reading this, the post is useless.

Anyways, I changed all my web addresses. This is the new address. Sorry for the trouble. Although, I could care less..... I might change it again...

On a different note, I figured out the "Blog-post SPAM" problem. There is an option for word verification in the comments tab of the blog's settings. Hopefully this will stop the automated advertisments.

I can't believe it!!

People are spamming in the comments on my blog! That sucks!

Song of the Week

"Don't Stop Believin" by Journey

I heard it somewhere, and it stuck...

Suzuka F1 GP

Just finished watching the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka. Great race. One of the best I've seen this year. I was so pissed that Kimi passed Fisi on that last lap. If he had only held out. (By the way, I am a Renault fan. I know its probably bandwagon to be one, but Alonso was awesome this year. Renault built a perfect car.)

Congrats to Alonso for dethroning Schumacher. Nice to see someone else at the top.

I have to say though, everytime I watch a successful F1 race, I can't help but think how unlucky I was that the one race that I went to was basically a practice for Ferrari. Yes, I went to that abysmal Indianapolis GP. However, it was still very cool. I only can imagine what it would be like if all 20 cars raced; instead of 6. Oh well. At least they are refunding the money. Maybe I'll go again next year.

Next year will be interesting though. Williams is dropping BMW and Rubino is racing for BAR? It's gonna be interesting....

Change of Site Address

I will be changing the web address to the site by the end of the month. Actually, I'll be changing the address to all 3 of the pages (main, the pictures, and the school). I haven't decided what to change them to, but I have a few promising ideas.

I only had the one I've been using for temporary. Be sure to check back and update your bookmarks!

Thanks to all those who have actually bookmarked it.....

Happy Birthday!!! (to the website)

Happy birthday to my website!!! It seemed like only yesterday that I started 'venting anger and raising suspicions'. I can't believe she's one year old! It brings a tear to my eye..... They grow up so fast these days......

I'm BACK!!!!

I'm back everyone! I know I hurt a lot of my readers with my 3 month hiatus. But every great writer needs a vacation! The truth is, I had a crazy summer and kept trying to write a post describing it, but I got lazy and never finished. So I decided to screw that idea and just start it up again.
