Can anyone make sense of this?

I was watching "Hollywood Squares" on TV and they asked this question:

P. Diddy has said that if there were a movie made about his life, what actor did he say would do him justice and be best for the role?

The answer was Brad Pitt.

I don't see Brad Pitt playing P. Diddy. I don't know where he got that idea from. I can't put it together...
