I can't believe that WVU lost to Louisville. They were a much better team. However, the game was fun to see. It was a game of opposites. WVU ran the ball, and UL kept passing. Both defenses sucked, but at least UL's was present. WVU could not stop the Brohm passing attack. He destroyed the secondary. WVU could have had it if they had only stopped UL a couple times. But the defense never came through.
However, it wasn't just the defense. That would be wrong to say. The offense messed up too. I couldn't believe all the fumbles and bad play from these players. Nothing went right. Even the special teams gave up a touchdown.
Even with all these problems, they still managed to put up 34 points. Pretty good....
Oh well, WVU is a young team. It is scary to realize that Steve Slaton and Pat White (two of my favorite players before the season) are only sophomores!!!! I knew that White would catch up with Slaton in the end of the year. He is such a dynamic player. If they ever got a premier receiving crew for him, and his passing ability increased, they will be even more dangerous. I think he could be better than Vince Young or Michael Vick in the next 2 years. WVU will be awesome next year. Even the secondary that got destroyed is young. I'm already excited for that. I just hope that Rich Rodriguez doesn't leave for another team.
If Louisville goes far, it will be tough facing certain people. Especially after Texas last year. But that just means my family goes to the right schools. Well except for the losers......Haha.....
