Live Bookmarks

I just discovered a great new thing on the internet. I've been trying to figure out this whole XML/RSS/atomX/Live bookmark thing that has been going around. I never really understood how to do it.

However, if you are using Firefox (as you should be), and you have the Google Toolbar (which you should have), it is very easy to do it. Well, I should first explain the benefits of Live Bookmarks. You can bookmark a page and then just check the bookmark to see if the page is updated. Great for checking out a page without having to go it each time.

Well I think its really cool.... I guess it might be good for me since I am on a limited bandwidth.....

Profile views

I just discovered a new feature on Blogger. The profile view count. I didn't know about that. I have about 555 profile views since I started this. I know that I've only viewed my actual profile view like 10 times. That is a little freaky....

'American Idol'

Is it just me, or was this the worst American Idol competition that ever took place. (We get the competition here with only a delay of a day, so its easy to keep up with the progress.)

Anyways, I felt that that this year, none of the contestants could sing. At least not as well as the contestants of last year. The final 12 were all losers and none of them deserve to win. The judges did a horrible job of picking whoever they picked and the American public did an even worse job of picking who should continue. Whatever, normally I wouldn't watch the show, but since there is nothing else to do...

I think Taylor will win (b/c viewers are stupid), but neither of them should be in the spot they are right now. There were better people...

Final Thought: Taylor cannot dance. People should seriously have thought that if he wasn't on the show, do you honestly think that he would have had a career? He blows! Do you think anybody in their right mind would have signed him? I doubt it....

Awww, soooo sad......

I hope something advances....

I hope we can find alternative fuels to work..... Gasoline, cars, and driving in general are all so incredibly inefficient. There is no way for the movement to go except abandoning them for something else....

Iowa Co. Hopes to Make Gasoline Obsolete

However, I still love cars, so maybe the change shouldn't come too soon..... haha....

This is just sad...

Desperate Housewives: The Game

I can't believe they are actually making this game. My guess is that this will be one of the worst games to ever see the light of day.

We already have to watch their stupid, immature, lame-ass antics on the show, and now people actually want to be them? Losers....

Exploding Motorolas!!!

I've always said that the RAZR was a bad phone.... Now look what happens when you get a Motorola. It could explode on you!!!

Worry over mobile phone explosions

P.S. - The article doesn't specifically say that it was the RAZR that did that. I just hold a grudge against that phone. I think too many people have it now. I like to laugh at those people who actually paid money for them when so many places give them for free...

Entourage!!!

I'm happy to find out that "Entourage" will be returning to our TV sets on Sunday June 11. I feel like I've been waiting forever for it!!!

(I actually knew about this a long time ago, but I just took a long time to write it down.)

Page updates!!!

I don't know if I have any regular readers, but if there are, I'm sure they will notice the new changes. First, and quite obviously, I changed the entire template. I wasn't going to, but many factors came into play and it just happened. Second, I added a Google search and an isoHunt torrent search. The Google search not only searches my page, but also the rest of the web. isoHunt was just a convenience for those people who are into torrents. Next, I finally added a hit counter to the page. That should have been up a long time ago. Finally, I added a few more links to my other sites and some of my favorites. I also cleaned up the link presentation a little [for Firefox users].

I hope you all like the changes....

I haven't kept up with the news about it, but I came across this randomly. I never accepted that "Chappelle's Show" would never come back on, because I never read it officially.

2006 NFL Draft

Wow! What can I say about the draft. Except for the fact that I stayed up and watched most of it. Sad, I know; but I wasn't alone at least. We were busy discussing all this stuff mentioned below. Oh yeah, I was ecstatic that 5 Ohio State [wooh!] players were drafted in the first round. That was cool.

Anyways, along with everyone, I was surprised at the first pick. Not shocked, but surprised. I was kind of happy that Bush didn't go to the Texans, but I didn't like New Orleans any better. Personally I think that the Saints should have tried to trade him later. The running back position is too deep at NO. However it could turn out to be okay. I just think they are investing too much money. Also, I was really excited with the New York Jets' picks. When they decided to take Ferguson, and then Mangold [wooh!], I was hoping that it would be really cool if they took Winston Justice. That line had the potential to be amazing! I was dissappointed when they traded down.

I was shocked to see how many defensive players were going ahead of offensive. Even the good receivers, tight ends, and linemen were getting pushed back. I was happy to see that Santonio Holmes [wooh!] was the first receiver off the board. Also, that Pittsburgh traded up to get him. I think he'll do well there.

I was very happy to see A.J. Hawk [wooh!] go in the Top 5, but I was dissappointed that the went to the Packers. I wished he went to the Raiders. But he's got a good LB line at Green Bay so he should do well. I hope so.

I was also happy that Bobby Carpenter [wooh!] went midway in the first. He was slated to go later. Too bad he's on Dallas...

Arizona is really lucky that they were able to take Leinart. Contrary to what everyone says, I believe that he is pretty lucky to go to a team that has the chance to be pretty good next year. He has a chance to do what Ben Roethlisberger did in Pittsburgh. He will have amazing receivers with the Cardinals; not to mention the brand new stadium. So he'll have a great training facility. Dennis Green isn't a bad coach either. Look what he did with Culpepper.

As everyone has already said, the next biggest surprise was Donte Whitner [wooh!]. I didn't have him down until the second round. I think Buffalo was just concentrating on picking up a safety, and they missed out on Michael Huff [who, by the way, is just nasty]. (nasty=good)

Anyways, I might as well give my prediction of who will be good and who I think will not do well in the NFL.
Rookie of the Year: A.J. Hawk - Not a biased opinion, I just think that he has the greatest chance of breaking out. I feel he will get a lot of playing time. Or Michael Huff. Maybe Vernon Davis. However, if Bush manages to get 1000 yards, its in the bag for him.
Will do well this year: Leinart, Bush, Holmes, DeAngelo Williams, Chad Jackson, Devin Hester, and Marcus Vick [haha]
Crash and Burn: Williams, Young (I just don't think he's ready; he's just had a lucky college career), Cutler, Sinorice Moss (too short), Winston Justice, and LenDale White (ask Ron Dayne).

Now, knowing my luck, the list will probably reverse, A.J. Hawk will get injured in preseason, and Vince Young will get Rookie of the Year and win a Super Bowl. That is just how it goes for me.

Final thought: I was depressed to learn that most of the players are younger than me.
